Chis-Mis Cafe

I drove past and thought, what. What happened to the Cafe that was here? So had to investigate and well same owners but new name. Anyway ended buying heaps to takeaway - coffee (decaf soy latte), vegetarian sandwich, plain beef pie, sausage roll, vegetable pastie, Carrot cake and Black Forest cake! Bizarrely not long ago had been thinking how you don't see Black Forest cake so much any more and lo and behold! And yes it was absolutely delicious and husband loved Carrot Cake. They actually make everything on site (except cookies) and so so good. Highly recommend. Will go back. Suggested they make mince pies, bet they'd be delicious.

Now this place is my happy place. service and food are 10/10 and you know the price is also good and they have a huge menu. This place is a gem. Like their food is entirely perfect with no flaws and it’s fresh like actually fresh the flavour and taste is amazing and incredible but it’s not unhealthy. I’ll be telling my family and friends i think it’s family owned like it’s so sweet and pure they are doing it right the food isn’t even the best part I enjoy being served here try it out. I added a photo a bacon beef and cheese pie the pastry was crispy it had a very small amount of vegetables and they created a big difference the bacon chunks were perfectly big the beef wasn’t overcooked it was fresh and delicious and the cheese is soaked through all of it. Obviously I love food but I don’t think I’m overreacting either try it for yourself and you’ll know what I mean.

Delicious food at affordable prices! Sharing plates are more than enough for two people. Exceptional value for money!

We had a little impromptu birthday lunch there today as a result of seeing it recommended in the local Facebook group. So nice to have a taste of the Philippines so close to us. Let us know when that Pandesal starts a baking! Thank you Ken and Nympha we’ll be back again

It was a great experience for me. The service was lovely, very friendly staff members. The food came out quickly and was very delicious. I went for breakfast and ordered the Beef Tapa. I was absolutely stuffed, great portion size. The flavours were great, it kind of tasted like homemade cooking. Definitely would recommend it to anyone in the area keen to try Filipino food.

Without any prior knowledge or experience of Filipino food, we walked in to the Chis-Mis Cafe where we were greeted and welcomed by the lovely staff. Kenny and Nymph both are so friendly! It’s always interesting to receive two menus (one with English choices and one for Filipino) We obviously picked the second one. Owners explained the choices and both our chicken and beef choices did not disappoint at all. It’s light, super tasty and very moreish! Kenny, thank you for the lovely coffees mate. We will come back and bring some more friends. Chis-Mis Cafe is a little gem in Hyatt!!

Highly recommend to call beforehand to order as lunch time gets packed . Food is great ! Fresh and lovely bunch of people :) top tier for filo bbq and just tasty food ! So glad we have you in the hood . Will return again :) I’m sure if they do ready cooked Bain Marie food , many people will rock up to get rice and dishes !
